## How Does an Inductive Proximity Sensor Work?

An inductive proximity sensor generates a high-frequency electromagnetic field at the sensing face. When a metal object enters this field, eddy currents are induced in the target, causing oscillation attenuation. The sensor detects this change and triggers an output signal.
